Environment Design Dump

Put environment stuff here. They could be big matte paintings, blueprint map layouts for level design, color keys, props, thumbnails, etc. Try to at least tone them B/W or better yet color because it's really important for figuring out the atmosphere/feel of the game, good camera angles, light sources, composition, and space relationships for environment modelers. Put a human character/car/furniture/whatever somewhere in paintings/thumbnails or a comment for indication of scale. Overall, good environment design is more important than character/creature design since environments is what really makes a game beautiful and unique. We could get away with okay character/creature designs. It may not be as fun or easy, but please don't neglect environment design. It looks like we have plenty of character/creature designers but not nearly enough environment designers. Even if you're not confident, don't be afraid to post any thumbnails or even cinematic storyboards if that's how you get ideas out.

I use the free software GIMP. It's like Photoshop, BUT FREE!
